James Kuma

Wedding DJ in Mallorca

A full dancefloor is neither luck nor chance.

It can be planned. I have been behind the decks for 19 years, 15 of them in clubs and on festival stages. From 2027 I live in Mallorca — with my own rig stored near Andratx.

The arc of the evening

From the low sun deep into the night.

An evening has a shape. Know it, and you never have to hope the mood turns — you lead it.

6 pm

Golden hour

Drinks at low sun. Groovy, acoustic material in the background — loud enough for a mood, quiet enough for first conversations.

8 pm

Dinner

Warm textures, nothing pushes. I watch who is here, how the crowd ticks and where the night can go.

10 pm

First dance

Your song, cleanly played in and cleanly resolved. The transition afterwards decides whether the floor stays full.

11 pm

Peak time

House, hip hop, Latin, EDM, plus the 80s, 90s and 2010s. In blocks, harmonically connected, without a break.

3 am

Wind-down

The moment everyone sings one last time. Then it gets quiet, warm and slow.

Noon

The day after

Recovery brunch or pool party. If you celebrate across several days, the thread stays the same.

There is no moment at my weddings when the dancefloor is empty.

Stories

How an evening actually unfolds.

Not a list of services, but a wedding told from start to finish: what was planned, what changed, and what happened on the dancefloor in the end.

Common questions

What couples want to know first.

Do you bring your own equipment to Mallorca?

Yes. My complete rig is stored on the island — the same equipment I play in Germany. Sound, light and ambient lighting all come from me. I rent nothing I do not know.

Which part of Mallorca do you cover?

I live near Camp de Mar, close to Andratx, and play the whole island. In the southwest — Port d'Andratx, Camp de Mar, Santa Ponsa, Puerto Portals — I am on site within minutes.

What music do you play?

House, hip hop, Latin, EDM and dance, plus the 80s, 90s and 2010s. I play blocks of six to ten songs of one genre and shift harmonically into the next, so the dancefloor never empties between styles.

What does a wedding DJ in Mallorca cost?

My weddings in Mallorca start at 3,000 euros. The price depends on the number of days covered, the equipment your venue needs and extras such as the audio guest book or the photo mirror.

Do you play several days?

Yes — with destination weddings that is the rule. Welcome dinner the night before, the wedding day, pool party and recovery brunch the day after, all from one hand.

How early should we book?

Couples usually book their Mallorca wedding 12 to 18 months in advance. Five dates for 2027 are already taken. If your date is fixed, an early enquiry pays off.

What if you fall ill?

There is an illness guarantee: I organise a replacement from my network, with my equipment and your agreed concept. You will not stand there without music.

Do you host as well?

Discreetly, yes. Announcements, handovers, guidance for guests. The music leads the evening, not the microphone.
