A DJ who lives in Mallorca.
From 2027 I live near Camp de Mar, close to Andratx. My complete sound and lighting rig is stored here on the island — the same gear I have played for years in Germany. Nothing rented, nothing flown in.
What that means for your day
Most German DJs playing Mallorca fly in for a weekend, rent gear they have never touched, and are gone by Monday. Four things are different with me:
No travel, no flight risk. I am not sitting on a plane that can be cancelled. I drive to you.
My own rig, no rentals. I know every channel of my mixer and how my speakers behave under a stone vault.
Site visits. I stand in your venue beforehand, check power, acoustics and where to build up. Not for the first time on your wedding day.
Several days are easy. Because I live here, a full weekend is no logistical drama — welcome dinner, wedding, brunch.

I cover the whole island. In the southwest I am on site within minutes — that is my neighbourhood.
Camp de Mar & Andratx
My immediate area. Fincas and private villas between the bay and the mountains.

From the centre to the east coast. Getting there is not an argument, it is a given.

Among others the Virrey Finca Hotel near Inca — a 17th-century manor between vineyards with courtyard, gardens and room for up to 200 guests. The Museu Etnològic dels Calderers in Sant Joan, an estate from around 1750 in the heart of the island. And Finca Sa Tanca.
Finca, villa or hotel
Each of these three worlds makes different demands, and each gets a different answer.
A finca usually has thick stone walls, open courtyards and rarely enough power for a big rig. What counts is that someone was there beforehand and knows where to feed in and how the sound travels. Outdoors there are also noise curfews — I clarify them with your venue in advance so the party does not end abruptly.
A private villa has no house system at all. Everything comes from me: sound, light, ambient lighting, cables, stands. This is where my own storage on the island makes the difference.
A hotel often has a fixed system that rarely sounds good. I either play on my own rig or complement what is there — whatever the house allows.

Where exactly do you live in Mallorca?
Near Camp de Mar, close to Andratx, in the southwest of the island. From there I reach Port d'Andratx, Peguera and Santa Ponsa in about 15 minutes, Calvià and Puerto Portals in about 25 and Palma in around 30.
Does the gear come over from Germany?
No. My complete rig is stored permanently in Mallorca — the same sound and lighting equipment I play in Germany. Nothing is flown in and nothing is rented locally.
Can you see our venue beforehand?
Yes. Because I live on the island, a site visit before the wedding is easy. I check the build-up spot, power supply, acoustics and possible noise restrictions.

Are there noise restrictions for weddings in Mallorca?
Many municipalities limit outdoor volume from a certain hour, often around midnight. Rules differ by municipality and venue. I clarify this in advance and plan the evening so the move indoors never feels like a break.
