When to book your DJ.
Twelve to eighteen months before the wedding — for a Saturday in high season, closer to eighteen. There is no sales pressure behind that number, just a simple truth: a season holds only a handful of Saturdays, and each of them is given away exactly once.
A matter of perspective
A Mallorca season runs from May to October. That is about twenty-five weekends. The sought-after dates among them are fewer still: June and September, warm but not scorching. The long weekends. The memorable dates.
I play each of those evenings exactly once. Ask early, and you choose. Ask late, and you take what is left. That is all the drama this needs — for context: five dates of the 2027 season are already taken.
The order that has proven itself
A Mallorca wedding hangs on a chain, and the chain has an order.
The venue first. It sets the date, not the other way round. The sought-after houses give away their Saturdays up to two years ahead.
Right after that, everything that exists only once: photography, music, planning. Everything that cannot be duplicated on your evening. That is the twelve-to-eighteen-month window.
Then everything else: flowers, stationery, transfers. More providers, more room to move.
Asking early does not mean deciding early
An enquiry answers one question first: is your date still free? You write to me, I reply within two working days — with an honest assessment and a rough price range. Then we talk, about thirty minutes. Only then do you decide.
If time is short
Ask anyway. Fridays and Sundays stay available longer than Saturdays, May and October longer than midsummer. And sometimes your exact date is simply still free.
Common questions
What couples ask about this.
How early should we book our wedding DJ in Mallorca?
Twelve to eighteen months before the wedding, closer to eighteen for high-season Saturdays. The proven order: the venue first, then everything that exists only once on your evening — photography, music, planning.
Are there still dates available for 2027?
Yes. Five dates of the season are taken; others are open. If your date is set, you will have an honest answer within two working days.
Our date is not fixed yet — can we still enquire?
Yes. Tell me the month or the season. I will tell you which windows are open — which often helps with choosing the date with your venue.
Is a short-notice booking possible?
Often, yes. Fridays, Sundays and the shoulder months stay available far longer than midsummer Saturdays. An enquiry costs nothing.
